Privacy policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Vallo Jõeorg, a private individual in Estonia (“we”). Contact: hello@handywheel.com. We are the data controller for this website under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The tools run in your browser

All random tools on this site (the wheel, number generator, coin flip, and so on) run entirely in your browser. The choices, names and lists you type are not sent to us. To keep your wheel and name lists between visits, they are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This is strictly necessary for the feature you asked for, so no consent is needed. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

When you use “Copy share link”, your choices are put into the link itself, after the “#”. Browsers do not send that part of a link to the server, but anyone you give the link to can see the choices.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web server, the host processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse (legal basis: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use this data to identify you.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep the tools free, this site may show ads through Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, measure them, and (if you agree) personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites.

  • Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform) before any non-essential cookies are used. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
  • If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads, which use less data.
  • While ads are active, you can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Privacy settings” link in the footer of every page.
  • Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage personalised ads in Google Ads Settings.

Google may transfer data outside the EU. Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for such transfers.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint your device and does not track you across websites. We only see totals, such as page views, referring websites, countries and device types, never individual visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the address above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Estonia this is the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), www.aki.ee.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
